Transforming Agri-Business: Highlights from AMIR’s Validation Workshop

On October 22, 2022, AMIR hosted a pivotal validation workshop at the Legend Hotel in Kigali, bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders dedicated to enhancing financial products and assessing Agri-Insurance options for youth engaged in agri-businesses. This event marked a significant step towards empowering young entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector.

The workshop aimed at validating and refining innovative financial solutions tailored specifically for young individuals involved in the Chili, Poultry, Green Beans, and Tomatoes value chains. With the participation of various Microfinance Institutions and consortium members, the discussions focused on addressing the unique challenges faced by young Agri-entrepreneurs.
