Mr. MANIRAHO Emmanuel is serving AMIR as Digital Finance Specialist under Kataza Program.

He is responsible for  Financial technologies, MIS System development and other financial management systems throughout Microfinance institutions.

He also provides expert advice to the AMIR’s Executive Director on risk management and risk transfer initiatives to support the achievement of AMIR’s None-USACCO automation services and goals.

Prior to this role, Emmanuel served as the Non -Umurenge SACCO Automation Project Manager (Non-USACCO APM) Application/Database Administrator and IT& Network Infrastructure operational Management since 2022.

He was also responsible for core banking system integration implementation coordination.

Before joining AMIR, he worked as Data management officer for 7 years at FARG since 2012 to 2019, Computer fundamentals trainer at Kimisagara Youth center during the year 2012 and teacher of Primary school in Bugesera District since 2007 to 2008. and field surveyor STAFF in Millennium Villages Project during the year 2006.

He is a strong information technology professional with a Master’s degree of Science in information Technology from Madras University (India) and a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Computer Science from Kigali Independent University (ULK) in addition to the Diploma(A2) Normal Primaire.

He is professionally certified with MCITP for Database Administration and MCTS for SQL server implementation and maintenance
