At M Hotel Kigali on Wednesday, the Association of Microfinance Institutions in Rwanda (AMIR) convened a key stakeholder meeting bringing together SACCOs, MFIs, and the Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD) PLC.
The purpose of the meeting was to raise awareness about the Kataza Rubyiruko financial product and to provide guidance on the liquidity application process and related requirements.
The primary objective was to equip SACCOs and MFIs with comprehensive information on the application process, including the eligibility criteria, documentation needed, and the expectations from BRD.
The session also served as a platform for participants to engage directly with BRD representatives, ask questions, and seek clarity on the liquidity facility.
The meeting was highly interactive, with active participation from SACCO and MFI representatives. Attendees voiced their questions and concerns, which were addressed in real time by BRD officials, fostering a deeper understanding of both the product and the application process.
