On 4th November, 2022, AMIR organized CEOs round table meeting at RICEM former Iwacu Kabusunzu. The meeting was organized in partnership with BK Capital Aguka Trust Fund and it was attended by CEOs and MDs from Microfinance limited companies (PLCs). In attendance were also key stakeholders such as the National Bank of Rwanda (NBR), DSIK and RICEM.
The objective of the meeting was to share with CEOs/MDs different initiatives and opportunities in the sector, ongoing projects at AMIR and upcoming events such as the Microfinance Technology Summit 2023. There was also a presentation from BK Capital about the Aguka Trust Fund.
The participants highlighted some advocacy issues related to IFRS9, designed strategies to promote access to finance and financial inclusion. The CEOs round table is a quarterly meeting in order to share best practices, challenges and mechanisms to solve them.
