AMIR last week on May 5th 2017 at Legend Hotel in Kigali City, hosted one of its annual important events the CEOs Break Fast Meeting. This meeting takes place regularly twice a year, and it is meant to find sustainable solutions for challenges that impact negatively the daily business of Microfinance Practitioners in Rwanda. The CEOs Break Fast Meeting is normally attended by CEOs heading MFI Companies/ Limited, commonly known as Big MFIs.
During the meeting, SBFIC presented to participants the progress status of the implementation of some important projects that SBFIC introduced in the MFI sector; namely Dual System, Coaching, and Mystery Shopping. All of the three projects aim at building a flourishing MFI sector in Rwanda. Both Coaching and Dual System support in building internal capacity for MFIs to work confidently professional so as to serve better the clients. whereas Mystery Chopping and Customer Care aim at building a strong system of MFIs with respect to Quality Service Delivery.
During the meeting, two new CEOs from Duterimbere Imf and Umwalimu SACCO were warmly welcomed by their counterparts, as this was their first time to attend the CEOs Break Fast Meeting as director generals.
